Tugo COVID-19 Update

03/23/2020

Tugo Bike Share cares about the community and is responding to COVID-19.

Tugo is asking all customers to help stop the spread of COVID-19 by practicing physical distancing. We are committed to keeping our customers and staff safe and will continue to operate Tugo to help support those who need to travel on an urgent basis. We encourage everyone to use our system through either the CycleFinder App, Tugo website or member key to maintain physical distancing.

The Tugo operational staff is exercising protocols such as disinfecting bikes and stations with germ-killing disinfectant as they visit them on a consistent and ongoing basis. We will continue to monitor the situation and take the appropriate series of actions.

There are steps you can take to protect yourself in addition to good personal hygiene while riding:

  • Wipe down the bikes before and after use with germ-killing disinfectant.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.

We continue to take the measures listed above, and we ask you for help in practicing safe hygiene with the current COVID-19 health situation.
